Privacy Policy
Prayer is personal. PrayerKind is designed to collect only what is needed to operate the service and honor the visibility choices attached to each request.
Information we collect
Account holders provide an email address, display name, and password. Prayer requests may contain information you choose to share. Anonymous visitors may optionally provide an email address for notifications and a private request-management link. Technical security logs may include IP addresses, timestamps, browser session identifiers, and abuse-prevention data.
How information is used
Information is used to operate accounts, display prayer requests according to their chosen privacy setting, send requested notifications, prevent abuse, moderate content, maintain security, and improve service reliability.
Prayer visibility
Public requests can be viewed by anyone. Circle-only requests are intended for active members of the selected circle. Prayer-team requests are limited to authorized PrayerKind prayer-team members and moderators. Choosing “anonymous” hides the display name from the request, but administrators may still have access to account or security information needed to operate and protect the service.
Email addresses supplied for notifications are not displayed publicly. PrayerKind does not sell personal information.
Retention and removal
Content may be retained as needed for account operation, moderation, fraud prevention, legal obligations, backups, and service integrity. Users may contact the site administrator to request account or content removal where applicable.
Security
PrayerKind uses HTTPS, password hashing, access controls, CSRF protection, rate limiting, moderation tools, and restricted database access. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should avoid posting information they do not want disclosed.
Children and sensitive information
Do not publish a child’s private identifying information, precise location, medical records, passwords, financial credentials, or other information that could put someone at risk.
Changes
This policy may be updated as PrayerKind evolves. Material changes should be reflected on this page.
